We used cloth diapers with Ian very successfully, and plan to use them this time around as well. I have quite a stash assembled: infant and premium sized prefolds, Super Whisper Wrap covers in multiple sizes, some wool covers (longies from a WAHM and some hand me down Aristocrats), Fuzzi Bunz and some other random diapers I bought from ebay!
Simple Mom has a great cloth diaper guide up right now, she has written way more than I could about the pros/cons/tricks and tips to cloth diapering. And she's also hosting a giveaway! Check it out!
Do you use or have you used cloth? What are your favorite brands and types?
Wasn't her series great? I have a cloth diaper website and her posts inspired me to revamp my website to include more information. LOL
Have fun assembling the babies stash, I really had fun with my second son's stash when I was pregnant.

we're using happy heinys and bumgenius one-size diapers. i actually like the happy heinys better since they fit bee's fat thighs better, but most of are stash are the bumgenius. but i must confess that we use a mixture of cloth and disposable, especially since our babysitter prefers the disposables. but i love that we can just use the same ones as she gets bigger -- i never committed before because i hated the idea of buying new sets as the kid grew.
and i can't believe i'm actually writing this, but i'm now a huge fan of early potty training. we started using the potty at about 6 months, mostly because bee kept peeing on my mom every night at bathtime, but i've been really impressed by how well we've been doing. we catch most poops on the potty, and i bet we'd do pretty well with pee too, if i wasn't so lazy. hope i don't sound too crazy alpha mom.

I used cloth nappies for both of mine. With the first I started with Motherease all in ones but they took so long to dry and it was an expensive option. I then decided to use terries and a pro-rap cover which worked out really well as the terries dried really fast and the cover weren't too expensive. I also used fleece liners as my first had terrible nappy rash when she was teething. I bought the first lot then bought a length of fleece when I had the shape and cut them from that. I also used a brushed cotton sheet that I cut up and zig zagged the edges for the wipes and everything used to go in the same wash. I used to carry a little spray bottle with water to wet them with in case I needed a wipe when there was no water around. Check out the www.nappylady.co.uk for some excellent advice on buying cloth nappies and various folds if you want to do flat ones. I also used to use a booster liner for nighttime nappies and would recommend the Weleda nappy cream and the balsamicum ointment for severe nappy rash
